| ALTERATIONS POLICY |
WEDDING ATTIRE
Alterations are not included in the purchase price at Something Old-Something New. Alteration
services for our wedding clientele, (Wedding Gowns, Bridesmaid Dresses,
Mother-of-the-Bride/Groom Dresses, and Flower Girl Dresses) are provided by Carol
Anderson, of Frankfort, In. Carol is an independent contractor and has provided our alterations
since 1999. At the time of your purchase, we will provide you with Carol's phone number and
you can make an appointment with her to discuss the type of alterations needed and their cost.
Appointments with Carol may be arranged in her home or in our studio during our normal
business hours. All alteration appointments and alteration payments are made directly with
Carol.
PROM GOWNS
Because of the volume of prom gowns that we sell, and the limited space in our studio,
Something Old-Something New does not provide alteration services for Prom Gowns. We will
be most happy to provide you with a list of the names, addresses, and telephone numbers of
seamstresses we have used in the past. These seamstresses are located across central Indiana
and are all independent businesses. You may call or visit one of these seamstresses if you
desire, and make arrangements for prom gown alterations. Any such arrangements and
payment for their alteration services will be directly with and/or to the individual seamstresses.
All appointments for such alterations services will be held at the seamstress's place of business.
OTHER PURCHASES
We are sorry, but insurance regulations and requirements prevent us from allowing items not
purchased at Something Old-Something New from being altered, stored, or steamed on our
premises. No exceptions to this policy will be permitted.
If you have questions regarding alterations that we have not covered here, please feel free to
inquire at the time of your visit to our studio.
